Master encoraged her to write and made her keep all her work. It was only when submissive wanted to learn how to progrmme using HTML (webpage coding language) did the idea of D/s Culture begin.

It was never intended to be put on the web. It was simply easier to learn HTML code by building a website and putting submissives poems and stories into the website seemed a good thing to do. It was only when it was finished that Master insisted that it was good enough to go on the web. Submissive never believed that others would enjoy her work.

Over the years it has evolved and grown. We have also had a lot of positive feedback which we are grateful for.

D/s Culture was never meant to be an information site. We felt there were many very good information sites already on the net. However, since launching this website in 2001 we have since been told that our statement that "this is not an information site" is not true. So we bow to those who have found some help or information within the pages of this website.

D/s Culture is not trying to tell others how to live their lives or suggesting that our way is the "D/s or BDSM way". We feel that as everyone is individual then there should not be one given way, but for each person to follow the path that suits them.

D/s Culture is not about sex, it is not about abuse. It is however about an ordinary couple who live as Master and submissive, showing a little of their lives via their poems and stories. We hope you enjoy your wander through D/s Culture.
