Wax Play - Our Way
|
|
This is something that we don't do very often but we do find it fun. We have several candles in different colours that we keep for this type of play. Normally submissive will be bound, as Master prefers her not to move during this type of play. Normally a blindfold is used as this heightens the experience as submissive never knows when or where the wax is going to fall. Often Master will put submissive in bondage then light the candles. submissive will smell the wax, but will not know if Master is to use the candles or just have them lit for lighting. Master enjoys waxing over submissives breasts mostly, though other parts of the body have been waxed. He will hold the candle from quite high, about two and a half to three feet away from submissives skin, so that the wax has time to cool on its way down. He wants submissive to feel the pleasure but not to be burned or hurt. Depending on the type of candle used will depend on the results. If a wide candle is used then a more splattered effect is given, with narrow candles you get a spotted effect. Once submissive gets use to the sensation and an area is getting covered with wax Master will sometimes move the candle closer to the submissive. Often ice will be put at the side of Master. He may drip the ice as it melts onto submissive, so that submissive is never sure if the sensation she is receiving is hot or cold. This heightens the experience. We often include wax play into bondage, and sometimes along with sensory deprivation. Once the session is over or the wax is to be removed it will simply peel off the skin. Sometimes this is fun to do with a knife, but only if you are both happy and trusting with the use of a knife in this way. Types of candles It is important to use candles that burn at a relatively low temperature. This means NEVER use beeswax candles or candles with scented oils. The best sort are usually the cheapest, no oil, no scents or fancy patterns. The wax within a pattern could burn at different temperatures and so make it dangerous to use. Often coloured candles can burn hot. The best thing to do is to try it out before any play is to be done. Sometimes wide church candles are used. As these burn they make a well of liquid wax. This can then be poured or even brushed onto the submissive. But care must be taken that the melted wax has not heated up to much. Thin candles can also be used, these are dripped onto submissive, giving a spotted effect. These may be the best type to use when first trying this sort of play, as they are easier to control. Testing a candle. Light the candle and hold it about six inches above your hand and let a small drip fall onto the back of you hand. If this does not burn and is not unpleasant then also try it on your wrist as this is a more sensitive area. The closer you are to the person's body the more it is likely to hurt or burn. If it is from further away the wax has time to cool before contact with the skin. Always check out any newly bought candles.
