  Sad Creature
A dragon without a spark Is a sad creature indeed Living their life in the dark No fire can they breath No matter how hard they try Not a flame does appear Big tears fall as they cry So sad that is clear A dragon without flight Is a sad creature to see Never getting to a height Or flying on the breeze No matter how hard they try No flight from their wings Never soaring in the sky A sorrowful life that brings A dragon with out love The saddest creature in all Looking for that love Is there only call For once a dragon falls in love They never should be parted For that would leave a dragon Totally broken hearted

The Puddle

If I breathe my fiery breath on you
You steam and fade away
But if I am carefully and look deep with in you
What do I see?
I see a dragon looking back at me

Dragon Race

I stretch my wings, and flick my tail
Hold my head up high
Look to my left the to my right
Summing up my opposition.
Flight to clashing rocks
Then round the highest peak
Before swooping down the valley
Racing home
The annual dragon race
To win the cup of gold.

Last year I came in third
I should of won but no
Some one blocked me
At the peak
And stopped me swooping home
This year I will get the cup
I will show how fast I am
The swiftest dragon
The keenest of all
To win the cup of gold

The grand high dragon
Takes to the air
Holding the starting banner
All hold their fiery breath
And wait for it to fall
Indicating the start
Of the annual dragon race
All take to the air
Dragons on swift wings
To win the cup of gold

The skies go dark
As twenty dragons
Young, keen and agile
Take to the wing
And soar to the heights
Making their way
To clashing rocks
Each looking for the space
So they will be the one
To win the cup of gold

As clashing rocks approaches
I push to take the lead
Putting all my power
Into ever stroke
Not wanting to get
blocked in
repetition of last year
This year I will be the one
To hold my head high
To win the cup of gold

I take the lead
Then loose it
As highest peak comes close
A grand final effort needed
As I swoop into the valley
No one can stop me now
As I take the lead
And head for home
Winning the race
And the cup of gold

Loving a dragon

Fair maiden, on his back
He soars through the skies
Over mountains and streams
Surveying all the lands
The Noble dragon lord
A princely sight to see
The wind in his face
And love in his heart

For finding his true love
Was not what he sought
As he rescued the fair maid
From her sacrificial fate
But as into her eyes
The noble lord did gaze
Spellbound by her beauty
His heart to her he gave

How could a maiden so fair
Love a creature like him
The dragons questioned
Her true love for him
His eyes she now gazed into,
And answered Him with truth
I see your love and honour
And so my life I give to you
